One night early last year I was visited by the spirit of Carol Levy.
I listened to the entire James Brown 4 CD set, "STAR*TIME".
It brought to mind hanging around Athens with

Sandy Phipps & Linda Hopper & Kathleen O'Brien & Maureen McLaughlin & ...

I think Carol & James danced all night in my sleeping head,
because the following morning I found myself on a relentless quest for contact
with my 'old world'- before I moved to the San Francisco Bay area...

Online I found photos of my club on Tom Smith's homepage where he talks about 'Boat of'!

zap!
That did it...

Transported to dreamworlds of grand proportion;
old feelings, faded details, rusty facts, frayed recollections,
and familiar smiles swirled around my consciousness.
I yanked weeds from my garden, rearranged the amps and stuff in the living room,
and repaired the yard lights for another festive party season in California,
but all I could 'see' was Athens.
